More and more it is apparent doctors treat you AFTER the horse is out of the barn...and with 20 year old standards to boot! In a blog by Davis, and in other comments, he was advocating that we move from "Med 1.0" to "Med 2.0" Get away from the concept that we are white-robed supplicants approaching the all knowing, all seeing, Purple robed "Wizard of Oz" Doctor and move toward a relationship where we lead while the doctor gives expert advice and backup. Most people are not able to handle this approach. Those of us that are have to learn how to approach our Doctors diplomatically without challenging them.
