That applies to the "carbon footprint" BS too ... if you are a breeder your carbon footprint is immensely larger than mine ... so I am going to keep using the plastic bags at the grocery and you can carry around the cloth ones.

And I am running the air conditioning like nobody's business.

Could be worse, the state could "decide" how many kids you have then adjust that depending on how much money they need that year.

"They should determine property taxes based on how many kids you have created."
