You're never indicated you're ever want drilling in new areas, not now or ever. So if your opposition is based on saving it for the future, that seems to be a new argument for you.

Its not a lie to say drilling will add to supply and that will make prices lower than they would be w/o that supply.

In a sense yes. However, as price advances and technology changes, new sources become economic.
