In fact Kennedy was willing to risk nuclear war. rice keeps saying Russia MUST do this and must do that. first of all if, you were Putin, do you think he will say: 'well, if she says we must we must----lol. All it will do is enrage Putin and cause him to do more damage, which he seems to be doing destroying Georgas military and oil facilities. I expect next Putin will cut Georgia in half and defend the russian portion and probably keep the oil pipeline from running. And imagine what Russia is thinking about the poland missle system. What would bush and cheney do if Putin said to them "you must" not go into Iraq, or say you must do anything else for that matter? And McCain is fanning the flames with jingoistic talk. This group is so stupid. If this ends up in a nuclear war, or even a conventional war with russia the american people will never figure out it was bush and their votes for right wingers that caused it! Obama is tryin to be the voice of reason and still be electable and McCain is making it very hard with his politizing this crises.
