Again, it is that novel concept called "compromise". I know, I know, you consider that to be flip-flopping... "Or why he doesn't attach conditions for global warming, such as" Probably because he doesn't believe it to be the case. Yeah, I know. Reality-based. That is Bad. "When push comes to shove, it's not clear to me that Obama would be willing to compromise. " He has a history of it. I know, Fox and Rush says different. But try looking at the actual record. "Especially when one of the biggest compromisers in the Senate is now being branded as "McSame" ..." Only because he has moved from working with people like Obama to pass legislation to standing four-square behind Dubya's policies.
