That is from Arthur Lee's "Red Telephone" on LOVE's ForeverChanges album from 1967.Wow!>> i can't leave that hanging for those that know nothing of Arthur Lee. Arthur Lee made one those most spectacular comebacks in history of music and then got run over by Leukemia, and died in 2007 at the age of 63. Arthur Lee was recognized as the shy genius that laid down the some of, if not the first ever Psychedelic Classics. He and his group influenced the Jimmi Hendrix(Just listen to 7+7=s ? first recorded in 1965, and imagine what Hendrix must have felt when he heard it) and Jim Morrison and the Doors. He drifted into drugs and vanished he didn't service until news drifted out he was sentenced to life imprisonment for three strikes and your out, all petty convictions. A movement of those that remembered him started to get him out of jail. It took SIX YEARS to succeed. Arthur Lee then went to england and formed a new LOVE group and had a roaring come back. i think he has a bandana on here as he had like already started his battle with leukemia and has lost his hair. This is fine capture video and audio of Arthur Lee. An aside, i have major respect that it was Robert Plante that led fund raising concert's to save Arthur's life. But he succumbed in 2007. So this is why i almost feinted that Paul Craig Roberts was into Arthur Lee. The line "They are locking him up today-------------" Doesn't come until towards the end. BTW,Arthur entitled Red Telephone yes, for THAT Red Telephone. The video/audio LIVE/2003/at age 59 , Arthur Leeyoutube.com
