A long time ago one of the first stocks my broker wanted me to invest in was an organic, healthy type version of the fast-food stores like McDonalds. The name of the new company was D'Lites. One of the main selling points of the stock was that football star Herschel Walker was a main backer. What he didn't tell me was Herschel didn't believe in spending money on advertising. Of course it was doomed to fail. I sold when the stock lost half its value. It lost the other half when they went out of business. The only good thing was my investment was small.

In his book that came out this year he reveals he has "multiple personalities." I wish the one that had some business sense had been in charge of this venture.
