Oh and let me go out on a limb here because i get my last nerve stepped on. I'm a physical therapist for 20 years. the Medi-Cal reimbursment, or as some like to call it a 'fee schedule' is 21 dollars per visit. if they stay 45 minutes it's 28 [FREAKING] dollars. I can't feed my dog with that! I can't go to freaking McDonalds with that. I sure as hell can't pay employees and overhead and unemployment/work comp et al. That $28 dollar FEE SCHEDULE hasn't changed in 20 years! I don't have to accept Medi-Cal patients but i like to consider it my service to society because sometimes i would like to kick them in the mouth. Where is the mystery? It's price fixing. It's all about feeding the State worker tape worm. I'm sorry man. It's ridiculous. I have 8 dollar per hour uneducated state workers denying my 21 dollar claim!(and the mailing cost 4 dollars) The system is broken. Break it. I'll be the first to stand in line and offer the state workers a job when they throw them out on the street. I know they got families to feed but hey. I'm sorry...
