DeLay didn't resign because of that, as you should know. He resigned so he could get his hands on the $2 million his campaign had in the bank.

My point is I picked someone who I knew something about his wealth before he took office. I am pretty sure that if you check others, you'd find the same. Just look at the lists of stocks held.
