There is a lot of racism popping up in former communist countries, mainly where educational level is low and old village culture is high. However, it is not racism as in the 1930's Germany, it is racism in the old village-life sense, where people with different looks or different accents are seen as strange(rs). These countries need some knowledge transfer on this issue, too.

Russia has a limited energy resource, and they can continue to fight over it for many years. However, at some point, somebody wants growth, and that requires other kinds of business than energy. I don't know if they're already there or if it will take decades to get there, but at that point, WTO will become interesting.
