Iraq is closer to Germany and France and what happens there impacts them more than we did in the US. I don't understand why Bush stick his nose out in Iraq and messed up. This country is damaged so much because of Iraq (both politically and militarily), that we are helpless in the Russia/Georgia situation. or is that that we started that by giving Georgia the green light and now we have to eat humble pie? Let us look at ourselves first before we attack countries like France. It was amusing to see McCain say that we have a pro-American president in France. What he does not realize that with him in the WH, President Sarkozy will outsmart him and wrest the world leadership from the US. Sarkozy is not only a very charming man but he is very smart, if not more smart that Obama is.
