All good reasons to keep doing what you're doing imo.

And great that you're getting such high gas mileage. We get 13-15 on the highway and 11-12 in town, so regardless of which vehicle we buy, we'd get quite a bit more bang for our buck with a smaller car.

We wouldn't sell Brutus..........we have too many uses for the car.......hauling our little trailer for camping, transporting stuff.......including dog -g-............... back and forth from cabin. Hauling family when we go out together etc. We sure wouldn't be using Brutus as much as we do now, but wouldn't consider trading him in,

I think we'd buy a used car with low mileage ( I know that is hard to do in this day and age, and we'd have to look hard and wait, but someone has to do it.

And I like the idea of waiting to see what kind of car the makers are going to come out with in the next 5-6 yrs.

We're not in any great hurry.
