this report just in from roundtable

I'm hearing of Chinese starting to have financial difficulties.

I began searching for a new amah today as ours has decided to return to the Philippines. (let me know if anyone has a good referral). I was searching AsiaXpat, as they have hundreds looking for jobs. In the first 50 I saw, at least 3 said they were let go because their current employer was experiencing "financial difficulties."

And then I get this email from Berry Brothers looking to sell a wine portfolio.

Perhaps another local in financial distress needing to get liquid?

The below are already in HK right now .
11 cases 2000 Latour , 98 pts , selling at GBP8,800/case
4 cases 1996 Margaux , 99 pts , selling at GBP5,850/case
1 case 1996 Lafite , 100 pts , selling at GBP7,400/case
Total amount is GBP 127,600
