i am supposed to report to my lunch companions today on monetary (koala, maple, eagle, panda, rands bullion, 1 oz size) gold availability in hk at this moment, and my staff scavenged hong kong and reports back, i quote

"hi morning. i did call n check the gold coins status both in hang seng bank (sub of hsbc that deals in physical, as hsbc only deals in paper gold) and boc (bank of china). hang seng bank has no more stock n they will hv stock only if any other clients sell it to them. boc hq has no stock but the other branch in central has a few stock around 10+, but they do accept order n it shld be available in 2-3 days."

conclusion must be that, in line with yesterday's check with china greatwall gold (official distributor of panda), money rock hk is out of monetary gold

Re <<exactly>>

we agreed back in 18th August 2008 on Message 24855494 ... the show must go on, as 'they' say

would work out better should gold tick to 2,500 (8% annual return) this year, but still okay if remains at 1,830 (6% per annum return on fuss-free basis) for deep-savings
