He was being humorous. A problem for Obamaniacs.

They flipped a coin to see who would go first. Someone had to win the toss.

McCain spent some of his time while Obama was speaking in a motorcade and some in a green room where he couldn't hear Obama speaking.

Wouldn't matter. McCain could simply answer according to how he believes. Obama was disadvantaged at having to frame his answers to try to blur the fact he's a radical liberal.

He didn't succeed which is why everyone is acknowledging McCain won.
