That is true. At this point, it is hard to say whether or not he was just blowing hot air or articulating Russia's position.

I doubt if Putin has decided yet. And it is his opinion that counts.


I think the only choice in Putin's mind is whether S. Ossetia stands alone or joins Russia. S. Ossetia's Georgia days appear to be over. That means 30K Georgians need to start packing.
