Russia isn't like China. All Russia's wealth comes from extractive industries - they produce nothing. In a way, they are the ultimate (R)'s.

I think they'll just return to the Czarist system.

No. Not surprised though.

Probably won't be communism, at least not like it was before. At this stage of the game, it hardly matters. Russia will be authoritarian with Putin pulling the strings. Nationalizing the resources is going to happen. The current owners don't know how the game is played and figure that, because they are rich, they have just as many rights to the strings.
