"9 out of 10 Americans believe in God. The Declaration of Independence mentions the existence of a "Creator.""

Oops. False dichotomy. This does not mean the majority thinks that creationism should be taught.

It is certainly possible, even common, to believe in God and have no truck with creationism.

Ted, > Besides you said Christian students were smarter than public school kids

Oh OK, I see you're putting words into my mouth again.

I see.......when you said Christian schools score better, you didn't mean the kids were smarter.....silly me:

"Ted, most of the students from Christian private schools score much better on the AP Biology, Chemistry, and History tests than those coming from public schools, yet the UC system rejects science and history courses taught there?"

Uh.....what exactly did you mean?

You're the one who agrees with the ruling that teaching creationism disqualifies private school courses from being accepted in the UC system. Why don't you prove that such a disqualification amounts to more than the usual atheist activism from the Left Coast?

News flash.......this is a secular nation. That doesn't mean we all practice atheism even on what you love to call "the Left Coast".

So far, you've tried to equate creationism with teaching "4+4=10." This despite the fact that many people smarter and more accomplished than you believe in creationism.

Then you do think they're smarter. You can't even be consistent for an entire post. Amazing.

I don't have to prove anything. Your position is the minority position, not mine.

9 out of 10 Americans believe in God. The Declaration of Independence mentions the existence of a "Creator."

We're not talking about believing in God. We're talking about you all wanting to impose your religious beliefs on the rest of us. The "you all" in the prior sentence is the minority position to which I was referring.

You're the one in the minority position, Ted. No wonder you rely on liberal judges to go against the views of the majority.

Oh ten......you are not making Cornell proud.
