I dont wanta play games with ya. I've given my opinion of your behavior. Your take is sorta like mine. Our military today is all volunteer. When my son joined, the recruiter was totally clear: You understand, there isn't any doubt about what's happening here -- you're signing up to fight in Iraq and/or Afghanistan. Right? My son, although only 24, fully comprehended what was at stake in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He is not a typical 24 year old, as he is highly involved and far more aware of geopolitics than, for example, my 27 year old daughter, or pretty much any kid that age. So, he made an informed decision about what HE believed was important. When an idiot like Parsons or tejek, neither of which has anywhere near the intellect, and neither of which is well informed as my son is, or for that matter, most any of the guys I've met in my son's military unit, makes disparaging remarks about why they're there, it is a disparaging remark about THEM. Personally. I think the Parsons' and Tejeks of the world ought to defer to people who are more knowledgeable than they. They can still oppose the war. But they don't have to be quite so denigrating to the soldiers who are fighting it. Because Parsons and Tejek may just turn out to be wrong. It would certainly appear that that is the case.
