Isn't that what a stop loss is?
Stick to mental if you can.

I am always amazed at how often that has happened to me and others.

Here is my two cents on stop losses.. If I get a signal on futures.. Buy or sell.. Put a LIMIT buy or sell on near where one would originally would put the stop loss on.. Works many times on the stock futures. Or enough to keep me in the game..:) Everybody seems to get the same read or signals but us "great unwashed" out here can't move the market to run the stops like the big boys or pit traders.. Or at least I can't..:) . "They" always seem to clear out the nearby stops first before the move starts.. It seems like so many set stops at the same place.. I don't know why.. Same level of pain I guess.

Sometimes one misses out but better than a loss. :)
