CJ, I wonder who came up with the mechanisms for evolution. The "predictive value" of evolution is based on the fact that the rules haven't changed.

By the way, I don't get the whole "predictive value" argument. You might be able to identify mutations and evaluate its probable chance of survival, but how do you "predict" mutations in the first place? (Other than writing one of the worst episodes of Star Trek: Voyager?)
