Yeah CJ, McCain deserved to be injured repeatedly, shot down by the enemy, and held in a POW camp for years. His willingness to volunteer for these missions, even after everything he's been through, just shows that he's incompetent, not courageous.

Meanwhile, Kerry deserves three Purple Hearts for getting what amounted to "million-dollar wounds."

This is the kind of B.S. you are supporting, CJ. How about you give it a rest, unless you too are pissed off at the Swiftvets?

If he hadn't been a legacy son and grandson of admirals, he'd have been assigned some logistical, desk flying position that didn't call for much brains.

By today's standards."

So? Even by the standards of that day, being able to fly while graduating at the bottom of your class was unusual. Being in the elite unit of the time was unheard of with that kind of standing. Likewise, flying low enough to hit high lines was a career ending move, even back then.

Man, do you not realize you are talking about a former POW? Its just not done.
