This is the first time I've heard the claim that he is a constitutional scholar. If this is the case, could you kindly point me to one of his scholarly writings on constitutional law published in a peer-reviewed journal? Or any writing at all on a constitutional topic that is more than just a statement of political preference or opinion.

Obama was formulating and exercising his campaign slogan and skill when at U of Chicago. According to the NYT he was quite secluded from the rest of the academic staff and not especially professionally appreciated.

It is very sad that the US is choosing slogan people and not people with a vision and dedication for the country, as President - unfortunate most of the world suffers form the same deficiency - no leaders with a love for their people and country way above their self-love and self-interests
