Obama was formulating and exercising his campaign slogan and skill when at U of Chicago. According to the NYT he was quite secluded from the rest of the academic staff and not especially professionally appreciated. It is very sad that the US is choosing slogan people and not people with a vision and dedication for the country, as President - unfortunate most of the world suffers form the same deficiency - no leaders with a love for their people and country way above their self-love and self-interests
