thank you... based on what i had read a therapeutic dose would be between 3 to 5000 IU per day....i've been taken 6 IU (3 2000 IU )...it wasn't a specific dosage based upon bloodwork, so my bad...i was taking a general dosage recommendation when my son had his last bout with kidney stones, he had to call a cab to take him to the emergency room...fortunately he passed the stone there, and it was analyzed (but honestly i don't remember the type, therefore the suspected culprit)
