Believe you are missing the gist of the article. To wit: Pakistan military can no longer effectively act to ensure political stabilitly.

Without Pakistan military intervention to stabilize the current situation (declining economy, etc.), chaos will prevail. Thus, your comment that "Pakistan has now a bright future" is ridiculous (no personal slight intended to you, just my opinion).

As bad as this may sound, Pakistan needs a benign military dictator to sort out this situation and allow its economy to stabilize and then grow. Something similar to Turkey whereby Turkish military has ensured stability during challenging times. Unfortunately, the likelhood of this is slim so I personally do not believe Pakistan has much chance of a bright future. Sure hope I am wrong...
