He is far, far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer. I think Clinton was bright, but he liked the Kool-Aide bowl a well. I can't think of too many I liked. I though that Gerry Ford had a lot of integrity. I am not sure he understood the big picture. I think that Regan brought a lot to the game. He is hailed as a great small government proponent. While he did cut regular income taxes but then he raised social security. Borrowed from Peter to pay Paul. He kicked the stuffings out of the Soviet Union. Alas it seems that W is about to let that get undone.
