Exactly. Hussein's Oil for Food ripoff is typical of the UN's handiwork. The Corrupt United Nations is today a more accurate title.

Dude, you have to stop watching Fox News exclusively......they tend to rewrite history on a whim. The UN has been the US's mouthpiece for years, starting with Israeli's statehood. Its why we like having it based in NYC. When we wanted to invade Iraq, where did Powell go? No, dude, you have it pretty much wrong.

Give me a break, when the UN isn't overtly ripping the US off of billions of dollars then it's undermining us and the rest of the west since China and Russia veto just about every time we try to use the UN for its intended purpose.

Climb down out of the ivory tower and look at the messes that the UN has been impotent at cleaning up or even slowing down.

We and the rest of the democracies in the world would be much more constructive and effective if we formed our own organization of democratic states, leaving a token crew in the UN and redistributing our contributions......
