True, but they already turned on him when he ran for re-election. They only pretend to include him now because they temporarily need his vote for control. The Democrats will gain seats in 2008 and will no longer need Lieberman's vote to make Harry Reid the majority leader. Assuming that they seek to strip him of his committee chairmanship, I think he would be welcome in a McCain cabinet.
I would have no problem with him as Sec. of Defense.
