The birth certificate search uncovered a trip (at 18-19yrs old) by Obama to visit his mother in Pakistan:

>In 1981, as a 19- or 20-year-old adult, Barack Jr made the further monstrous mistake of travelling to Pakistan to visit his mother, on an Indonesian passport - the passport of a nation which does NOT allow dual citizenship - thereby proving that there was a period in his life, as an adult, during which Barack Jr considered himself to have been a citizen of Indonesia and NOT a citizen of the United States of America.<

He described him as his best friend. Argue with McCain. I am just taking him at his word.

Please provide some kind of support for this claim. I cannot find it.

However, you are supposed to reimburse for the flight,

He did reimburse for all flights, and it is true that some of the reimbursements happened a while down the road. I know people who have done the same thing, it isn't unusual, and had it been illegal, there is no doubt he would have been called to account for it.

Then why was he at those meetings with the other Keating 5?

The record is very clear that McCain was dragged into the meeting -- and he has said it was against his better judgment -- but he also said up front that he was willing to attend and hear what was said. By all accounts that's what he did.

There is nothing even remotely inappropriate about listening to what someone has to say. Ever.
