">In 1981, as a 19- or 20-year-old adult, Barack Jr made the further monstrous mistake of travelling to Pakistan to visit his mother, on an Indonesian passport - the passport of a nation which does NOT allow dual citizenship - thereby proving that there was a period in his life, as an adult, during which Barack Jr considered himself to have been a citizen of Indonesia and NOT a citizen of the United States of America.<"

That still doesn't cut the mustard. Indonesia not recognizing dual citizenship is a moot point. In the US once you are a citizen, you can't just undo it with the wave of wand. In fact is an expensive pain in the ass to do. The US wants you to pay taxes to them no matter what your other citizenships are or where you live.

Heck if you guys do win and prove somehow that he is not a citizen, you will be doing him a favor by giving him an escape from the most tax oppressive country in the world. Good luck with that though. Once Uncle Sam has his claws dug into you, it is difficult to get him to let go.

As for using a Indonesian passport, it is standard operating procedure for a dual citizen to use and carry two passports. When going into Indonesia, you would use the Indonesian passport. When going into the US, you would use the US passport. This has been the known and accepted best practice for a long time.

My advice to you and anybody else is that if there is anyway possible for you to get a second passport, do it. It gives a bit more freedom in this old worlds and freedom is still a good thing last I checked.

I've got a whole collection of passports I've used. BFD. I'm a U.S. citizen and never gave it up to try for an Olympic medal.
