Unless Obama makes a surprise move and picks Hillary for Veep

Obama probably hopes that by paying respects to Hillary he may "mollify" - and win over - her supporters. It may be smart on his part to try running s a "uniter", as a Party man - rather than solely on his own skimpy accomplishments.

Hil would probably like best for him to lose, so she could run in 4 years.

Obama cannot win without the support of Clinton and her people. Ergo, let the Clintons' talk and enjoy their fifteen minutes of fame.

If he was to select her as his VP, it is unlikely that the setup would be as we are being told today. Therefore, I think someone like Richardson will be his VP.

In this way, he accomplishes two important steps: Giving a voice to the Clinton women and giving a voice and new power to the Hispanics.

Even so, I still don't see Obama being able to pull off this election. Translation: McCain is probably the luckiest SOB on the planet right now.
