Abramoff & Ralph Reed:

washingtonpost.com

McSame & Ralph Reed:

truthdig.com

Ralph Reed used to pretend to be a Christian, until it got too ridiculous, then he just started groveling for cash like a good (R) without the Jeezuz baggage.

Bush factor

Reed backers counted on the rumored intervention by President George W. Bush but were disappointed when Bush seemed to distance himself from Reed in an attempt to disassociate himself from Abramoff. During a July 2005 visit to Georgia, Bush pointedly ignored Reed, who attempted to get his attention during the President's speech. In a March 2006 appearance at a Georgia Republican Party rally, Bush further tried to distance himself from Reed, saying that Georgia had two candidates for Lieutenant Governor and naming Reed's opponent, Casey Cagle, first. Pathetic.

There is no "there" there, yet you approve of this kind of sleazy tactic?

I told you this was going to happen. The GOP is going down. You guys have so much baggage it would sink the Titanic without having to hit an iceberg! So sorry.

Oh? Is it inaccurate? And, besides pointing out something McCain probably doesn't want known, what is sleazy about it?
