Docsis packets handle three parts, cable ipTV, broadband .net packets, and telephony voip. All of which can use only just cable modem, which is ethernet in disguise.

Seac, Harmonic and others are all vendors of cable industry. But they are supported with set revenue by cable operators(CapEX). No one is really gaining on others. Many state of the art technology had some kind of problems for total market roll out.

Too early to project how many wins. We are investing in a basket of cable vendor stocks. The future however is high speed communications with infinite capacity to avoid denial of service. EdgeQam(DSL) and Docsis(posix) are conventional technology, proven in lower frequencies, that scales up easily, which makes them less riskier.

Good talking with you.
