"Why do we need to know...." Because Eric Zorn wants you to know. And who is Eric Zorn? He is a long time opinion writer/editor for the Chicago Tribune who is in the pocket of the Illinois Democrats and an avid Obama supporter. You need to know how far Zorn and others will go to 'explain' Obama in the very best of lights since they obviously don't trust Obama to be able to explain himself without digging the hole deeper. Obama is a product of the Chicago/Hyde Park crowd who cannot imagine that their boy wonder will not float easily into the Oval Office. Who can deny Obamamessiah? Only those under the influence of the Devil himself. So that's why you need to wade through Zorn's twisted and twisting verbiage.
