He has just as much of a chance as Obama does -- they're basically tied at this point.

With 3 debates upcoming, if McCain outperforms Obama as well as he did in the forum last week, I think he is likely to win it. Obama will improve, of course - but I'm not sure his inability to answer questions on fundamental issues will improve that much.

A lot of Obama's problems haven't come to light yet. I do not believe the liberal media -- no matter how much they like him -- is going to allow him to be elected without first having to answer some tough questions about ties to terrorism, his extreme liberalism, his inexperience, and a plethora of other serious problems with his campaign.

A simple... "so far so good" or first stage is a success but it isn't over" would have been a whole lot better. g
