I agree. However, McCain's campaign has, heretofore, not been able to show just how extreme Obama is. You have ostensibly smart people, like Michael on this thread, who will state outright that Obama isn't extreme. Now, anyone who cares to look for a minute can see just how extreme he is, but McCain's campaign is going to have to convey that message. There's a lot of time left yet, though.

I think that's why this abortion law issue is so big and getting so much attention. Obama's position on this is not only extreme, it is far beyond what most Americans believe is extreme, and in fact, is reprehensible.

His extremism is what makes him so dangerous IMO and McCain has to really convey this. Which I think he's started doing better on.
