The Fed will not allow the banks to fail and thereby do what must be done to allow them to continue doing business. Banks need to loan money to make money. Banks will consolidate. Banks will buy each other's debt instruments as those pricings become more attractive. The Fed will not falter in their quest. Yes one can argue deflation. But we will continue to import our way of life and hence energy will be inflationary. Tell Russia to behave? Hmmm ...
