I am gonna ask about the tracking of plaque tomorrow during my carotid scans,

whats likely though, is that the doctor is gonna send me home and tell me to get my gingivits controlled,

after that, I dont think i will post here anymore because it seems as I may have been a decade or two premature on my need for the data, but I am sure glad I learned what i did here in the brief weeks that I was entertained by you'all

Okay, Bill, I’m going to pretend that you’re still with us. Wish you were.

I have tracked my plaque via calcium scoring. Was rudely surprised earlier this year to learn that despite all my efforts, plaque burden was in the mid500s. Odd because I had zero symptoms.

So, I went to cardiologist, had echo cardiogram and stress test done.

Guess what? Absolutely no blockages whatsoever. No need to do anything different than whatever I’m doing, which he said is working very well for me. I’m good to go for another 100,000 miles. In my case, the calcium means nothing as my pipes are good.

Cardiologist said calcium scoring is a useful tool but it doesn’t account for individual circumstances.

I did have a tiny bit of calcium in the aortic valve, which he’ll monitor. He thinks I might need valve replacement in 7-10 years. But nowadays that procedure is no big deal.

So, calcium scoring worked really well, Bill. It indirectly led to my knowledge that I’m fit as a fiddle.

Thank you, Bill. I followed a lot of your advice.
