Paul,

Well, I only buy below-NCAV stocks that are profitable, so I did not have your experience. In fact, both KONG and HRAY increased their book value (not by much) in recent Q. On the other hand, at least KONG only recently breached the NCAV value.

I have not looked at LTON yet, but I will do that.

I'll add a few shares of LTON to my high-cash & net-net package:

LTON is a Chinese company that "provides entertainment-oriented telecom value-added services to mobile phone users over mobile telecommunications networks in China" (per Yahoo)

From unaudited Sept balance sheet: $97M in cash & short-term investments.

Less $11M total liabilities

Less $9m cash used to purchase controlling interest in another company (1/13/10)

gives: $77M over 42M shares out. (per Yahoo) = $1.83/sh,

Stock now about $1.75
