Keith was transferred a few times and isn't sure that he will get mail that
arrived while he was away from the Port Coquitlam facility. He still needs
letters from B.C. residents (details below). Best to fax to 800 number and
mail original to him. Thanks to all who can help. If you are sending a
letter, can you reply so I can tell him what to expect, please?

I am back at the pretrial facility, but, they will not give me assurances
that they will keep me here. However, they forwarded some of my mail ,so, I

guess the best thing to do is to have anyone who wants to write a letter to
fax it to me at 1-800-572-4403 or to send it here at:

1451 Kingsway Avenue
Port Coquitlam, BC V3C1S2
Canada

I received the newspaper articles at my USA address. Thank You for your
help...it is greatly appreciated!

Subject: Vegan prisoner needs letters of support from B.C. residents:

Keith Maydak is a prisoner in B.C. who is being held awaiting extradition to
the U.S. He is the fellow responsible for getting vegan meals introduced
into all U.S. Federal Prisons (by suing the system) some years back.

See Keith's email, below (he has someone typing for him), to find out about
his situation and what you can do to help if you live in B.C.

Thanks.

Thank You for all your help, it is greatly appreciated. The more letters I
receive, the better it will be. On the other hand, don't go through too
much trouble. Their " beef" with me is that I have no community ties.

Thanks Again.

dictated for Keith Maydak

>I am sorry I did not get back to you regarding the letters. I didn't want
to bother you over the holidays and I had a scheduling hearing on January
5th that I had to prepare for . I fired my lawyer and I am doing everything
myself. Anyway, here are example letters for B.C. residents. They can be
in any form and say anything. They should be sent to me, not to the court.
