GUILTY!! IN THE PRESENCE OF THE JURY. At the hour of 11:15 AM, the jury returned with the following verdict: COUNT I - FALSE REPRESENTATIONS TO OBTAIN BENEFITS (F) - GUILTY, $250.00 or more; COUNT II - THEFT (F) - GUILTY, $2,500.00 or more. Jurors polled at the request of Mr. Pitaro. The Court thanked and excused jurors from service. COURT ORDERED, matter referred to the Division of Parole and Probation for a presentence investigation report and SET for sentencing. O.R. 10/16/08 9:30 AM SENTENCING

The second trial, also brought by the State of Nevada, was supposed to start today, but it's "to be dismissed". That apparently doesn't mean that it actually HAS been dismissed: Mr. Pitaro advised this case is to be dismissed based on the other case which is in trial. Mr. Merback asked to pass this for a status check for the Deputy to confirm. COURT ORDERED, Trial date VACATED and matter set for status check. O.R. 9/04/08 9:00 AM STATUS CHECK: DISMISSAL
