A chart of two fidelity sector funds, I've used them as ETFs don't go back to 1998. They aren't the top performers in their sectors but are a good representative of oil service and gold stocks.

Well, I'm glad you finally got the news. If you had the foresight to purchase gold bullion in 2003/2004, then you would see that the <wild ass ride> has been up for the past five years. More than 20% per year.

So yes, it has been wildly good to those invested in it, and I believe that average will continue over the next five years.

And gold is not just a commodity.
