It might be a simple goof or it may be that he's more extreme on abortion than NARAL. He's yet to give a coherent explanation. Since it's the only instance I know of what Barack Obama did not take a straddle or just vote with the rest of the party, I suppose he must have convictions on the issue. It is news to me that he has convictions on any issue, so I guess that is a good thing. But what an issue to pick. He won't give an explanation, since his whole campaign is trying to hide how liberal he really is.
