Eureka at U of I: Obama-Ayers Records Recorded
By Chicago Daily Observer

Much to the dismay of the University of Illinois, a researcher used a research library at the U of I Chicago Campus to do research. Steve Diamond, a University of Santa Clara Law Professor accessed the Annenberg Challenge archives several months ago, and makes some (not all that surprising to CDOBs readers) discoveries about the close relationship between Bill Ayers and Sen. Barack Obama. Diamond notes:

1. the leading role that Bill Ayers played in the Annenberg Challenge;
2. the equally important role played by Barack Obama; and
3. the intensely political nature of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

within the documentation that Diamond was able to summarize in his 7 page report.

After reading the summary (and there is much more available than Diamond was able to obtain), the Annenberg challenge seems wasteful and mismanaged, but not unexpected from the joint work of an incompetent terrorist (Ayers) and a bungling politician (Obama). After Ayers and Obama disbursed around $100 Million to political allies of the Annenberg Challenge, nothing much was accomplished according to Diamond.

Per Diamond
Under the circumstances, it seems more than a bit disingenuous of Senator Obama to dismiss Bill Ayers as “some guy who lives in my neighborhood.”

How about it U of I? Why not let researchers do more complete research to see just how effective a Presidential candidate and a terrorist are at managing a $100 million project failing one of the worst school systems in the United States?
