It's an effective short term strategy. Since the Iraqi government can and is likely to continue the program, I don't see why you think its shortterm. I guess you guys like paying the person who killed some of our soldiers. It give me the creeps... makes me sort of sick to my stomach. Does it bother you we helped rebuild Germany and Japan? Who are the good guys, the Sunni or the Shia? AQ is pretty much back in Afghanistan. The elected government are the good guys. The bad guys are the ones blowing up things.
