"That's because they weren't telling us that people losing their homes are a bunch of whiners."

Nor were they painting their opponent as elitist while they were the very model of the common man.

Yeah, but you don't just think Marx was a genius. You agree with him on things like the nature of "the rich".

You weren't bothered by the last two Democratic Presidential candidates who were very wealthy - as an awful lot of Democratic politicians are.

That's because they weren't telling us that people losing their homes are a bunch of whiners.

Neither has McCain.

You don't understand hypocrisy and narcissism, do you?

I see liberals displaying it on SI all the time. Many of them have a mental picture of themselves as members of some cognitive elite superior to others, especially conservatives. A narcissistic characteristic, I think. And they hold this view despite the absence of positive evidence. Even in the presence of negative evidence - for example, I've seen liberals make stupid lamebrain misstatements and still turn right around and excoriate people who know better.

But you hate Republicans and you hate the rich (unless they're Democrats) - you're a confused mass of hatreds which you don't even understand yourself.

hating Republicans energizes me. ;-)

Would you agree that hating is a defining characteristic of leftists like yourself? That it gives your lives meaning?

I can't speak for other liberals....only myself.

So speak for yourself. Is hating an important part of your political outlook? Does it in some way give a meaning to your life?
