"I guess where you live, you run into more white supremacists than I do." It is no where near as overt as it used to be. And most people think they are past it. And, for all intents and purposes, they are. But my own brother rides the Obama and the reparations horse now. And he isn't exactly what I'd call a red neck. So I am pretty sure this crap is going to work on some. Don't get me wrong. There are those who get into the victim mindset. As I have noted before, my wife is German. Voted Green regularly, etc. We discussed the race issue on several occasions before she moved here. She scoffed when I told her the ball was more or less in the black's court. They needed to step up and take advantage of the opportunities they have and stop whining. See, I was just a racist American. Then, she did some substitute teaching in Dickensen High School. It pretty much convinced her that, if anything, I was soft pedaling the situation.
