He's become just another folksy guy talking his book. Remember Earlie?

I don't think it's just a matter of his book. The fiscal austerity supported by IOUSA flies in the face of his ideological beliefs.

If only Buffett had inherited his father's political views. Howard Buffett's politics were quite similar to Ron Paul's. Opposed to adventures foreign and domestic. Unfortunately, the current GOP bears little resemblance to the GOP of Taft and Buffett.

Of course the current Democratic party is much closer to Henry Wallace in ideology than to FDR (not to mention Al Smith or Grover Cleveland).

Totally agree on Buffet. Excerpt from my take of IOUSA

"Buffet seemed way overly optimistic and at times out of touch with reality.

Walker was absolutely brilliant.

Solutions to political problems centered IMO on educating the masses by going almost face to face. Could be a long uphill battle."

"Almost as if Buffet didn't want to talk against his book." Amen....very disheartening performance by Buffett.

For those who missed the screening, I.O.U.S.A. Excellent documentary by Wiggin/Bonner of Agora Financial on the US financial disaster.....very well done....showings/ticket availability at
