I am so glad he picked Biden. I am also glad obama saw early what I did not see. I had to sor to evolve my thinking until I caught up with Obama's thiking. I think what Biden always lacked was the charisma Obama has. Obama has some rare personality plus which is hard to even characterise? I was thinking obama got to see biden a lot on the debate circuit, so he got a good feel for Biden. But in the final analysis, I think obama was swayed by three things: 1) he can learn the language of the government perfectly and international world. 2) Bidens knows all the games, all the players and where all the skeletons lie 3) Biden is the best person to be with him in the knife fight McCaina and probably Romney are going to engage obama in. And biden sponsered the legislation to prevent violence against women.
