Ken, I was deep in sleep at 3AM, unlike the silly media--their eyes are about to shut on national TV. Are you happy with Joe Biden?

If I were Hillary Clinton, I would say the following:

“Let me get this straight, Barack, my vote for the Iraq war resolution showed I had poor judgment, but your pick for VP cast the exact same vote Say what?”

Seriously, can someone explain to me why Hillary’s supposed mistake doesn’t count for Joe the Mouth??

So Obama showed his true color which is sexist. He used Hillary’s vote for war in Iraq to beat her up now he picks someone who voted the same and by some accounts has made racist statements. “can’t go to 7'eleven without speaking Indian” or some stupid cultural diss like that. You know it seems Biden has been a dutiful servant who goes along to get along and he fit well with Barack.

All the hopes anyone may have in Biden’s electoral pluses for Obama do not triumph over Biden’s feckless primary this past year. Nationally Biden has consistently always run as an also-ran and dropout. If the Democratic VP nominee on the Obama ticket is still Biden after the convention, the burden of winning independents, white blue collar workers, and Clinton supporters will fall on him. He will be to blame if he fails to deliver that support. After 35 years in the Senate, after a number of Senate leadership positions and after a couple of previous presidential primary runs, Biden’s name is synonymous with “Bowing Out.” Let’s hope that Biden rises to an act of high courage in a political epiphany next week. If the primary polls quickly show that he will drag the Obama ticket down to defeat, he ought to graciously remove his VP candidacy—he has, after all, lots of experience dropping out of national primaries— to limit his damage to the Democrats.
